I was nervous about sewing something with this much visual movement, but the rows go together way easier than the on-point illusion suggests. Cutting all those diagonal angles took some planning, though the finished top looks far more complicated than it actually was.

The diagonal angles give this quilt so much movement, and honestly I was relieved that it's actually sewn in rows — way easier to keep my seams lined up than a true on-point setting would've been. Finished the top in a weekend and it looks way more complicated than it was.

I'm usually wary of on-point quilts, so finding out this one is pieced in straight rows was a relief
