One Wonderful Curve

I've made three of the twelve quilts so far and the block really does transform once you start adding pieced elements. The instructions made the curved piecing way less intimidating than I expected.

I bought this thinking I'd get maybe three or four layouts out of the curved block, but all twelve designs in the book are genuinely distinct once you add the pieced elements. The diagrams for trimming the curve are the clearest I've worked from.

I was worried curved piecing would be too fiddly for me, but the way this book breaks down the single curved block into twelve full quilt layouts makes it all feel manageable. I’ve already mapped out two projects from it just by studying the alternate pieced elements. It’s the kind of book I’ll keep
