The fat quarter layout means almost no waste, which I appreciated since those prints weren't cheap. I swapped in a slightly darker gray for the solid and it still reads exactly like the cover. My curves came out smooth on the first block, honestly didn't need the practice run I'd planned.

I was nervous about curved piecing, but the step-by-step instructions with the 53” x 70” layout made it so manageable. The fat quarter and gray solid combo really pops against the white background.

The fat quarter layout in this pattern is genius, I used all 12 prints without a single awkward leftover. Curved piecing with the ruler went way smoother than I expected and the finished 53x70 throw looks way more complex than it actually was.
