The quarter-yard cuts gave me just enough variety for the curved piecing without a ton of leftover fabric. Paired with the quick curve ruler, those pod shapes came together way faster than I expected. Binding and backing yardage were spot on too.

I was nervous about sewing curves but the included ruler made it surprisingly doable, even for a beginner like me. The 1/4 yard cuts of assorted prints gave me plenty of variety without buying a ton of fabric, and the solid background really makes the pods pop.

The fabric requirements listed are spot-on—I had everything cut and laid out in an afternoon, and the 51 x 64 finished size is perfect for a lap quilt. Curves came together smoothly once I trusted the process, and the assorted prints really pop against that solid background.
