The 8 fat quarters gave me plenty of variety for the assorted prints, and the Quick Curve Ruler made trimming the curved blocks way easier than I expected. Finished quilt top came out looking way more intricate than the actual piecing was.

I was nervous about curved piecing but the Quick Curve Ruler made it surprisingly painless, and my points actually lined up on the first block. The 53 x 53 layout is a great size for a throw, and eight fat quarters was plenty of variety without breaking the bank.
