Conchiglie Chic (Carta)

The Quick Curve Ruler made those pieced shells way easier than I expected — no pinning nightmares, just smooth curves every time. I did the 65x78 version with 4 yards of background and it came out perfectly balanced. Already picking fabric for a second one.

I used 8 fat quarters for the shells and the curved piecing came together way easier than I expected. The 65 x 78 size makes a decent throw, though cutting 4 yards of background felt like a lot at first. Binding took just half a yard, which was nice.

The Quick Curve Ruler guidance makes those pieced shells way less scary than I expected, and the layout diagrams are easy to follow even on a busy cutting table. I grabbed the 8 fat quarters option and the math for cutting everything checks out perfectly.
