The video quality is sharp enough to see exactly where the seam lines up against the Quick Straight Ruler, which made my first block

I’ve watched it twice already and the way she breaks down the Quick Straight Ruler angles finally made the Solarium pattern click for me. The pacing is slow enough to follow along without pausing every few seconds, which I appreciate.

The pacing is slower than I expected, but the close-up shots of lining up the ruler on the fabric made the whole process finally click for me. I just wish the video had chapter markers so I could skip back to the trimming step without scrubbing.
