The pattern comes together way faster with the Quick Curve Ruler than I expected, and the 56 x 76 size makes a perfect throw for the couch. I used two and a half yards of background fabric and still had some left over for a pillow.

Using four different focus fabrics instead of one print made my scrappy version look way more intentional, and the 2 1/2 yards of background was plenty for the whole top. The Quick Curve Ruler cuts through curves faster than I expected, though I did practice on scraps first.
