The yardage breakdown on this saved me so much guesswork, especially the note that the assorted prints are 1/4 yards and not fat quarters. I've already got my background and border fabrics picked out, and everything adds up perfectly for a queen size.

I love how the pattern lays out exactly how much fabric you need for each part—the 2-1/2 yards for the background and block border made cutting so straightforward.

I was worried the 4 1/4 yards of assorted prints wouldn't be enough for the scrappy blocks, but the cutting layout worked out perfectly. The 2 1/2 yards for sashing and outer border gave me plenty of margin, and honestly the quilt came out way better than I expected.
