مود كاكتوس (ورق)

I love that this kit includes four yards of assorted low volume backgrounds—it saved me so much time piecing together a scrappy look. The QCR Mini made cutting the cactus curves feel almost effortless. Everything came together faster than I expected for a pattern this detailed.

The low volume background fabrics are what really make this pattern work — they let the greens pop without fighting each other. I was worried the QCR Mini ruler would be fussy, but it made trimming the cactus shapes surprisingly quick, and the 3 yards of backing left me plenty of room to spare.

Cutting into the six green fat quarters was the best part, they blend so nicely with the low volume backgrounds. Having the Mini ruler included saved me a trip to the shop, and the flower print adds just enough pop. Quilt came out exactly like the pattern photo.
